How do I check my flight status online? ›

Visit the official website of your Airlines and enter your PNR number, so that you have all the correct information about your flight and have a comfortable journey.

Opt-in: To opt in to United's flight reminder text messaging, provide your mobile phone number on the United app or at united.com. A confirmation message will only be sent to customers in the U.S. or Canada. Opt-out: You may opt out by replying "STOP" from your mobile device. No further action is needed.

Go to your respective airline's website. Select the Edit/Manage Booking option. Enter your PNR or Booking Reference number and email or last name. Hit the “Get Itinerary” button.

People can follow their flight of interest either on a designated flight tracking website or flight following apps. Flight tracker apps are easily downloadable on a tablet, smartphone or Android. You can also track a flight via the airline's app by navigating to the Flight Status tool (you can also find this on an airline website). Though each airline has its own tracking features, they typically show the departure and arrival times, gate information, altitude, and map of where the plane is located.

How do you know what terminal your flight is at? ›

This can be found either in your email confirmation, or on the airline's website closer to the day of departure. The flight terminal is sometimes included on your boarding pass, along with the gate number, when you check in.

Seat is automatically reserved for you by the airlines, you can see this on your boarding pass. You will receive your boarding pass from the airline after completing your counter check-in or (online) check-in. Check-in online may not be available for some airlines.

Just select “Flight Status” at the bottom of your app screen. If you're signed in, you'll see the flight status of all upcoming trips that begin in the next 48 hours. You can also search by flight number or city.
