About The RoleOn the Uber Eats Regional Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and optimizing our operations across the EMEA region. Joining the Merchant Operations team, your focus will be on expanding the restaurant base and supporting businesses that manage their own delivery. Your role will involve strategic and operational initiatives aimed at ensuring our platform offers the best experience for both our Merchants and customers.
What You'll Do
- Analytical Insights & Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, build dashboards, and provide actionable insights to enhance our strategies and initiatives.
- Competition Analysis: Track and analyze competitor activities, including product offerings, pricing strategies, and customer experiences to maintain a competitive edge.
- Strategy Development: Support the creation and execution of strategic projects that drive growth, particularly in the self-delivery space.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including local markets, product, marketing, and finance, to align and execute on strategic initiatives.
- Operational Process Scaling: Develop and scale operational processes across the region to improve efficiency and support business growth.
- Project Management: Lead and execute projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and meet the desired outcomes.
- Governance & Reporting: Prepare and present regular updates to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency on progress and challenges.
What You'll Need Basic Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in Business Operations, Management Consulting, or Investment Banking with a strong analytical background.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting quantitative analysis, interpreting data, and communicating findings effectively, both in writing and verbally. SQL proficiency is required.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify key performance drivers quickly and accurately.
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to translate challenges into actionable plans.
- Experience in project management, with the ability to establish and implement processes from the ground up.
- A positive, collaborative approach and a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, particularly in tech or digital platforms.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering).
- Prior experience in stakeholder management across different markets and functions.
- Familiarity with the food delivery industry or related areas is a plus.
