i couldnt find this movie on here so i digitized a vhs copy i have, (note: the vhs copy is quite used so the quality of this rip isnt amazing, especially in the beginning).

I had to make an account just to leave this comment. I adore the Beatles, but I’m so serious I have never been more terrified during a movie. Unlike Help which is just ‘silly-experimental’, and A Hard Day’s Night which just feels like a home movie, this film has a strange ‘found footage’ quality to it. Like those analog horrors could never match this vibe.
Notes:
My new worst nightmare is John Lennon scooping copious amounts of Spaghetti on my plate while mumbling “skaghettetitti” to himself while I sob uncontrollably.
When George’s song came on I was initially very relieved because I foolishly thought, ‘oh it’s George, he’s an upstanding gent, he’d never do something to harm me,’ cut to one of the most disturbing songs ever written. It’s not even a bad song, but oh my god the visuals had me staring blankly without moving for the whole thing. Who is the magical mystery boy? Why does he look kidnapped?
The only vibe I could get from this film, was that everyone on set was having a competition to see how high they could get, and there was no clear winner.
Shoutout to Ringo’s aunt she was great, didn’t stir any fear in me that whole film. A wonderful outlier.
Also I think it’s nice that they give the stripper the second credit in the film. You go girl.
Anyway…this movie altered me in a way that has forever changed me. I’m simply a different person. 5/5 I hope I never see it again. :)

Subject: I should re-rip this VHS
the way i recorded this onto my computer was very janky, so i might redo this now that i have a better way to do so

Subject: The Audio track is distorted
the audio on this needs to be redone. It sounds like an AM radio cranked all the way up. scratchy fuzzy in a bad way. Can someone fix this?
